Firsts

William finally got a much needed first hair cut. I was a little sad to cut off all of his nice soft hair. I remember when Orions hair was nice and soft, and it just isn't anymore. I think part of me was hoping that if I just didn't cut Williams hair, it would stay soft. But, it was getting long enough to braid, so I decided it was time. Here is a before picture.

And today, we celebrated Williams First Birthday!! I can't believe my baby is one year old today! William got to lick his first cake batter spatula.

To celebrate we went to lunch at Red Robin. (Really, we went because we had a free meal for my birthday and a free kids meal coupon that expire tomorrow.) Then we had some errands to run at Costco. We came home for naps (for William and I) and then went to the library. We opened presents.

And had left over Red Robin for dinner, before having cake. It was a good day, and I think both boys enjoyed it.
And just for fun. I picture of Orion and Philip. This was taken after they got home from the Summer Frolic. It started pouring while they were there, and they got SOAKED there and on the walk home.
